Hi,

That scope you have there is a German gen. 1 unit. They have exceptional tubes in them and a lit reticle. About the only thing on them that's really annoying is the eyepiece shutter - it takes too much pressure to open it. An ARMS mount will take care of your mounting problems (when they surplused them, they kept the mounts for some reason). Oh, and be careful of the battery doors - they have a nasty habit of coming unmounted.

This is pretty much what we learned before we decided to pass on the deal and shipped them all back.
