The ThermoView
Ti 30 thermal imager is
positioned as a breakthrough low cost entry level performance thermal imaging system
with some temperature measurement features.

the temperature gun people is touted as a low cost imaging system
with a portable easy to use design

This breakthrough thermal imaging
camera is made possible by the use of new technology. The Amorphous
Silicone bolometer detector is a low resolution low cost detector
technology. This bolometer sensor provides an and refresh rate
that are not suitable for typical military
night vision and tracking needs but appear to be adequate for
basic thermal analysis of industrial equipment.
Now the Ti 30 has
incorporated this silicone detector
technology into a usable package. By adding false
color and finally developing a radiometric version they claim to have a great new
product that might prove to be a very good thermal
camera for basic predictive maintenance applications.
We have yet to see one but will add it to our demo rental pool as soon
as they are in full production and actually available.

Our sneak peak sources indicate
that the system will have the following features.

- Near real time target scanning (much improved over
snapshot style cameras)
- Includes full-featured software for analysis and reporting
- Charging station bay to insure that your system is always ready
to go

The advantage of
near real time scanning with temperature measurement is supposed to make
snapshot style cameras obsolete. The Ti 30 is trying to position
itself as the new toolbox

field personnel.

The thermoview could be an amazing little imager at an
affordable price or it might be another in a long line of trying-to-be
thermal imagers. We will let you know what we think when we see
it.
This system will be available to the public soon.
