This new high resolution infrared thermographic camera is based on the elite, high-performance 256 x 256 PtSi (Platinum Silicide) detector array engine that is capable of making even the most minute temperature differences visible on the system's integrated color LCD monitor. The camera is extremely easy to use. All that is required are three function keys and a plus-minus adjustment key. Whenever a function key is activated its control function is depicted on a pull-down menu superimposed onto the LCD monitor. A monitor depicts the camera's operating status. The captured thermograms can be stored on a PCMCIA card or a hard disk. As a high resolution digital thermal infrared camera the Vtherm256 IR imager operates within a 16 bit dynamic range. Various interfaces, such as RS 232, a digital video port, an S-video port, etc. make it possible to connect the system with a PC or external monitor. The comprehensive Vtherm-XL software package makes it possible to take advantage of a wide range of functions and display possiblities:
